Fall is a beautiful time for admiring the foliage in the Lake Anna area, but it is also full of amazing events- many of which are fun for all ages and won’t break the bank.
Below are just three of the several upcoming fall events in Lake Anna!
3rd Annual Wild Roots Music Festival: September 16th-17th
This event is filled with good music, good food, and good times. This festival takes place in a beautiful lakeside setting for all ages. There will be food trucks, craft beer, and even cups with purchase (until supplies last).
Famous Fried Chicken Festival: October 1st
Held at the Gordonsville Fire Company Fair Grounds, this festival showcases its famous fried chicken. Not only will there be tons of mouth-watering fried chicken, but there will be a Fried Chicken cook-off and a Pie bake-off! Outside the food, there will be different crafters and artist vendors showing their art!
To enter the chicken cook-off, there is a $10 fee, and the pie bake-off is $5 per pie. This festival is free to attend, but to enter the wine garden there is a $5 fee (and proof of age!).
Boos and Brews: October 23rd
Taking place at Southern Revere Cellars, this activity is perfect for the fall! There will be: artisan vendors, smoked pork, sweets, and a haunted trail filled with frights and delights! Of course, there will be brews, too!
With so many fun events, it’s easy to see why many people choose to make the Lake Anna area their home.
